Maggie's words

Maggie is still steaming ahead on talking. When we ask her, "What does a cow say?" she responds, "Moo". That is the only animal we have been able to get her to do reliably. Most of the time for the rest she just repeats the name of the animal. She is able to point out eyes and nose and sometimes mouth on me and herself! She is getting extremely good at repeating what she hears. Guess the time has come to be extra careful what we say. Any moment now her vocabulary will spurt even more. She has also taken to nodding recently. Sometimes it seems to mean a yes, sometimes that she likes something, sometimes just to bop along to music in her head. Hehe.
Sorry there is no new picture. I have been lax with the camera recently. I really need to get a video of her nodding. And, if I'm lucky some of her talking.

Comments:
What I learned you can't do around Maggie anymore is eat French fries; she has to have every other one of mine, which is how we spent this past New Years' Eve.

The charming Ms. Maggie, and her Momma called me, and we all went out for dessert together and
to see 'dada' at the same time, besides checking out the new dessert menu. Yum.

But desserts are one thing and French fries another, and that little Magpie, she sure loved sucking that ketchup off those fries, followed by mashing whatever was left into that cute little face. My oh my that little baby can eat a whole lot of Frenh fries.

Hey, I was supposed to be eating the fries, but how can you say 'Sorry Charley" to a little girl, who is looking at your food like she never saw any before? It is just because of the ketchup is my theory!

Continued success with your world explorations Miss Maggie, you're doing great. And your mama and dada seem to think you're pretty worthwhile too!
